A short while ago I received a small pond yacht in need of some TLC, the model itself would require re-painting as well as fittings replaced and new sails. The first job was to strip-down the model and start the re-paint. At the request of the customer the colour scheme was chosen and work could begin, the first job was to prep the hull and prime ready for spraying once this had been finished the line detail was applied and the hull varnished. With the hull now completed the next task was to sort out the deck area and the fittings this took a little while but certainly enhanced the finished hull. The final task was to replace the masts etc and make up some new sails this was then followed by the rigging to finish the model.
Overall this proved to be a nice restoration job.
